Foundations in Faith

Kids, marriage, business—it might sound like I’d be too busy to write. And some days, I really am. But the call God placed on my heart to share my journey through writing has been impossible to ignore. I grew up going to church—my grandfather was even a pastor—but it wasn’t until my twenties, when I joined a young women’s Bible study, that my faith truly began to grow. That group helped me see how personal and powerful a relationship with Jesus could be, and it planted a seed that’s grown into everything I’m sharing with you now.

For me, life is all about grit and grace. Grit to persevere through the trials, and grace to know I don’t have to do it alone. My faith is what gives me peace and keeps me going, even when life feels overwhelming. It’s the anchor that steadies me through the storms and reminds me that God’s plan is bigger than anything I could imagine.

That’s why I wrote Grit and Grace: Daily Inspiration for the Hard-Working Woman. My hope is that this book, along with this blog, will be a source of encouragement for you—whether you’re walking through a tough season or simply looking for a reminder of God’s goodness.

Life isn’t easy, but it’s a blessing. Through every trial, Christ’s love remains steady and sure. And my prayer is that you’ll find peace and strength in Him, just as I have.
